The Establishment Studios – Melbourne’s only combined props, set building and daylight studio with three different spaces available for hire, each with their own personality.

The Front Room

Measuring approx 5 x 7 meters with windows facing west for soft, beautiful daylight this room also features white lime washed floor boards and partially exposed brick walls.

The House

“The House” offers two small rooms both with unique looks.

Room One

The first room measuring 3.6m x 4.1m,  has original peeling wallpaper walls with a dark timber flooring.  A bay window at the front allows for rich, dark moody light in this space.

Room Two

The second room measuring 3.4m  x 3.6m  has a charcoal grey floor and a distressed blue grey wall finish.  The window in this room provides north facing light, perfect for side lighting still life shots.

The Warehouse

The largest area in The Establishment, the warehouse has painted white wooden floorboards throughout. The appeal of this space is the variety of  textured wall options available.  Our most popular wall features exposed red bricks overlaid with peeling white paint. The second wall is a distressed and textured grey painted wall with a dragged concrete effect. The back wall has been finished with black peeling paint over brick. The final wall is painted white brick. This space has natural daylight throughout with the added appeal of west facing, side light entering the space in the afternoon. With large double door, ground floor access bumping in and out one less concern with the added bonus of a loading zone directly out the front of the building.

The Kitchen

We also have a fabulous new mobile kitchen with brand new state of the art SMEG Induction Cook Top and OVen.  Featuring a black dappled Smartstone top and a brushed metal separating bench.  Perfect for both form and function.
